Illustrated Fiction: Horny for the Bride (Hebe / Psyche)

Hello my beautiful demigoddesses and demigods,

today you are getting last year's runner-up for Pride Month, Hebe and Psyche, as a little surprise. I caught the summer flu and was knocked out for two weeks, so I was unable to finish the 7000+ words behemoth that my Hermaphroditos story has become. So I hope this story is a consolation for the additional waiting time.

Full disclosure: my brother-in-law gifted me a subscription, so I played around with NovelAI when I was writing the draft for this story last year. I hadn't looked at it for months but it was so very obvious where my original writing ended and the AI draft began. Imagine "they just keep adding new plot lines, they don't finish any of them" taken to the extreme 😂
Needless to say, the draft required a lot of editing. I will post the unedited version for you to check out if this is something you would be interested in?
In any case, I fully support the Writer's Guild of America refusing to edit AI generated scripts. For a creative person that really is the inner circle of hell.

Pride Month's artwork has been created by Sinoky, based on ancient Greek art of Hebe and of brides and Roman art of Psyche with her butterfly wings. It is such a delicate, intimate piece, mirroring this relief of Hera and Zeus:

Hera and Zeus, Temple E in Selinunte, ca 450 BCE, G. Dall'Orto

Glossary

Hebe: Goddess of Youth and former cup bearer of the gods, eventually replaced by Ganymedes.

Kypria: an epithet of Aphrodite

nympheutria: bridesmaid or maid of honour who takes care of the bride before and during her wedding

Psyche: a mortal girl who married Eros who then abandoned her when she broke one of his rules. After a series of tasks given to her by a spiteful Aphrodite, she regained Eros' love and was deified.
